2011
They should be used to me by now! So this year I may pull out all the stops.....
Day 1: A package was on the Galloway doorstep Friday morning...
with yours truly inside!
Overnight deliver from the North Pole!
Day 2: this milk isn't sour.... I turned it green!
Day 3: I was upset that my family had comfy beds to take naps in...
so he built myself a bed and used almost all Momma Galloway's cotton balls!!!!
Day 4: Momma Galloway was MAD when only 1/2 the lights came when she put the tree up.
So she turned it off and went to bed. Then I went to decorating it
with my own special touches!
Day 5: The first (of probably many) goosechases! I know the boys LOVE this. Somehow, I managed to get stuck in a 2-liter of Dr. P... and then hid in the dishwasher!!!
Day 6: Nice words did NOT come from Momma G's mouth while she had to change out most the lights on the 10-ft tree... So I made GOOD out of BAD lights. The family woke up to find Spencer hanging from the breakfast room light... following the trail, we found 3 more friends ziplining from the dining room light fixture... I was bringing up the rear! I made a zipline course through my living room, dining room and kitchen with those 'bad lights'!
Day 7: My dry erase art on the family photo wall!
Day 8: I planted magic seeds. It will take a couple days
to see what grows!
Day 9: I've done things in the past to upset Momma G. This one is surely to
make her smile! Hunker Do Hairy Dawgs!
Day 10: Missing my good buddy Rudolph... so I turned my
other good buddies into Rudolph instead!
Day 11: Magic Seeds!!! LOLLIPOPS!
Day 12: I fixed breakfast... Snowmen powdered sugar donuts!
Day 13: Hide N Seek... goosechase style!
Day 14: I 'found' a bag of cookies... or so I thought! Turns out they
were dog biscuits.... YUCK!
Day 15: This morning I was NOWHERE to be found. What will be discovered at school.... I packed James & Will's lunch (with extra candy) and wrapped the lunch boxes in christmas paper. I had to head to the N.Pole early to help my best elf Elvis with toys (and to report to Santa that Chandler isn't staying in his bed!!!)
Day 16: Well, almost every night last week at least one of the boys woke his parents up multiple times in the night...and all 3 are guilty! Saturday morning, I dressed Daddy G up like Santa and left this note! Mom and Dad have banished me to the North Pole until better choices are being made by the children in this house! I AM HAPPY TO REPORT THAT THEY HAVE STAYED IN THEIR BEDS THE LAST 2 NIGHTS. IF THEY DO IT AGAIN TONIGHT, I CAN RETURN!
Day 17: After 3 nights of staying in their beds, I was allowed back home! I took "Lumpy" to the north pole with me on the 'exile'. We were cold when we returned....
Day 18: a gift wrapped tree!
Day 19: Missing the North Pole, the ice maker was the next best thing...
Day 20: A tinsel baracade on the bedroom door to celebrate the last day of school!!!
Day 21: After a weekend away- and a few days without me,
I returned with advice from Santa
and a gift from the jolly old elf! I couldn't contain himself and tore into the
package before the boys got up... Santa Clause 1, 2 & 3 dvds!
Day 22: I had Santa send a video email to the boys....
determining whether they were on the naughty or nice list....
WHEW.... they all made the nice list!
Day 23: I decided to decorate the little tree in James & Will's room
with leftover Halloween candy!
Day 24: One last goosechase around the house...
lead to a funny Christmas Jibjab video that my elf friend told me about!!!
Day 25: A hersey kiss trail went from the boy's room, down the stairs and to the garage door.... where we discovered me in the car. I hung Christmas lights in the car.... crazy elf!
Day 26: After the Christmas Eve Service, I was found on the piano having a birthday party for Jesus.
My last night here... time to head back to the North Pole!
